Buddha Relics Temple - Singapore
Finding tranquility at the famous Buddhist temple in Singapore Chinatown πΏπ
The Buddha Tooth Relic Temple and Museum is a Buddhist temple and museum complex located in the Chinatown district of Singapore. This majestic place of worship is a repository of Buddhist wisdom and relics, and is home to an artifact of religious reverence. Built in 2007, the temple gets its name from what the Buddhists regard as the left canine tooth of Buddha, which has been recovered from his funeral pyre in Kushinagar, India, and displayed on the templeβs grounds.
The temple is large, so make sure to spend a decent 2β3 hours if you want to visit all the floors, religious artifacts, and Buddha relics.
The temple is free to enter and opens from 7 am-7pm daily and is a must-visit on your Singaporean bucket list.
